Sir Rico gets some very unexpected news about his current job. But, it does come with a silver lining.
Well, recently I landed a new contract job out of state. I’m pretty happy about it but it has made doing new comics very difficult. I’m hoping in the next week or two to get back to doing some more, but I’m not quite sure yet. Life has become quite busy and complicated. However, Sir Rico will return soon with all new adventures – I promise!
Well, the most recent contract job ended last week. I had thought it was going to become a permanent thing, but that I guess was not to be. It’s a slightly complex tale, and if you watch the comic (which I am starting up again) over the next couple of weeks, you will get an idea of how things went. Nothing bad really, just kind of a weird set of circumstances and a little bad communication I think. But I left on good terms and who knows, maybe the next job I find will last longer than a month! Here’s hoping!
Well, this week I am starting my new, “real” job. This is going to make doing the comic even harder, but I will still try to get at least one up each week (probably on the weekends) and try and work into the strips how my new job is going. I hope you can hang with me during this transition phase. I enjoy doing the comic and want to try and keep it going. Anyway, wish me luck folks!
Well, the long search and wait for a new job for myself and Sir Rico is now over. I have found a new position and begin work there on October 26th. Finally! It’s been awhile in coming and I’m pretty excited and happy (as is Sir Rico – see today’s comic). I will try to continue with the comics and work in the new job and things going on with me there. My plan is to get up at least one comic a week and hopefully more, if possible. So, stay tuned. More fun to come!
Well, one of the reasons the comic has been less frequent is my “real” job search has been keeping me busy and may be getting close to an end. Recent things have started to happen and I am trying to stay calm (unlike Sir Rico) and keep my head. I should know more by the end of next week. Stay tuned!
